Ordering and delivery
Order through the shop on this site, or call, text or WhatsApp 0402 774 885. Online orders take payment up front; phone orders can be paid by cash, card or PayID at the door. You need to be 18 or over either way, and the driver checks photo ID on delivery.
Orders to the Melbourne CBD and inner suburbs such as Southbank, Docklands, Carlton, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and Footscray usually arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. Most other suburbs take around 30 minutes, and outer suburbs in our delivery area can take up to 45 minutes depending on distance and the time of night.
Delivery costs $10 to $40 depending on your postcode. You can check the fee for your address on our delivery fee page before you order, and it is shown to you before you pay.
We deliver across Melbourne, from the CBD out through the inner and middle suburbs. The full suburb list is on our Melbourne delivery page. If your suburb is not listed, message us with your postcode and we will tell you straight away whether we can reach you.
No. We take orders Monday to Wednesday from 12pm to 2am, Thursday to Sunday from 12pm to 5am, and from 12pm to 6am on the day before a public holiday. Some Melbourne services advertise 24 hours; we would rather publish the hours we actually run.
Yes. We deliver until 2am Monday to Wednesday and until 5am Thursday to Sunday, so a late dessert service or a party that runs long is not a problem. Orders placed after we close are answered when we open at 12pm.

Yes. Every order arrives in plain, unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside that identifies the contents or the sender.
Products and brands
We stock Skywhip and Skywhip Pro Max, Miami Magic Infusions, Supremewhip, BestWhip and Ignite. That covers 8g, 8.2g and 8.4g chargers, 640g and 660g tanks, and 3.3L and 4.4L cylinders.
A Skywhip Pro Max 3.3L steel cylinder holds 2,000g of nitrous oxide, which the manufacturer rates as the equivalent of 250 standard 8g chargers. A Miami Magic Infusions 3.3L holds around 2,050g, which Miami Magic rates at roughly 260 chargers.
A Skywhip Pro Max 4.4L holds 3,000g of nitrous oxide, which the manufacturer rates as the equivalent of 375 standard 8g chargers. That is 1,000g more than the 3.3L.
A standard charger holds 8g. Supremewhip chargers hold 8.2g and Skywhip Pro chargers hold 8.4g. One charger will whip about 0.5 litres of cream into roughly 1.5 litres of whipped cream.
Tanks work out cheaper per gram of gas, so once you are going through more than a box or two a week a tank usually costs less. Chargers suit low volume and need no extra equipment. Tanks need a pressure regulator and hose, which are sold separately.
No. Every tank ships with a pressure-release nozzle, which is used to open and close the valve — it is not a regulator. To fill a whipper from a tank you need a pressure regulator and hose, sold separately, which connects the tank to any standard cream whipper.
The 660g steel tank holds 660g of N2O, rated at 83 standard 8g chargers. The 640g aluminium tank holds 640g, rated at 80 chargers, and is lighter to carry and move around a kitchen. Both take the same regulator.
Using and disposing of tanks
Screw the pressure regulator onto the tank valve, connect the hose from the regulator to your dispenser, open the regulator for five to ten seconds, then close it and disconnect. Shake the whipper and it is ready. The regulator and hose are sold separately from the tank.
Do not put a pressurised cylinder in a household or recycling bin. If you bought the tank from us, we collect it free when we deliver your next order — message 0402 774 885 before the delivery and the driver takes the empties away. We depressurise them and the steel goes through certified commercial waste streams.
Yes. Empty tanks bought from us are collected free with your next order. Tanks from another supplier, or a pickup with no order attached, carry a fee. Trade accounts can set up a standing collection on the same schedule as their deliveries.
No. The tanks we sell are single-use and the manufacturers state they cannot be refilled. Refilling a disposable cylinder is unsafe and voids any warranty.
Unopened chargers and sealed tanks have a long shelf life when stored somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Check the date on the packaging. Once a tank is opened, use the gas rather than storing a part-full cylinder for months.
Keep cylinders upright, somewhere cool, dry and ventilated, away from heat sources and out of walkways. Victorian guidance for retailers is to keep stock behind the counter, in sight of staff, or in a locked cabinet rather than on an open shelf.
Legality and safety
Yes, for culinary use. Nitrous oxide for non-therapeutic use has been a Schedule 6 poison under the national Poisons Standard since 1 October 2022, and products must carry the required warning and container labelling to be sold. Buying chargers or tanks to use in a kitchen or bar is lawful.
Selling nitrous oxide for culinary use is lawful in Victoria, but under section 58 of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 it is an offence to supply it where the seller knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the buyer intends to inhale it. That is why we refuse orders where there are signs of misuse.
Yes. You must be 18 or over, and so must whoever receives the delivery. Our driver checks photo ID at the door. We sell for culinary use only.
We will not supply anyone we believe intends to inhale the product. Inhaling nitrous oxide can cause serious and irreversible nerve damage, and supplying it for that purpose is an offence in Victoria. If we see signs of misuse we cancel the order and can refuse future sales.
Yes. Everything we stock is food-grade nitrous oxide intended for culinary use. Purity figures vary by product and brand — they are stated on each product page rather than claimed across the whole range.
Business and wholesale
Yes. Trade supply is available for cafes, dessert bars, restaurants, bakeries, caterers, hotels and event companies, with pricing per case or pallet, scheduled delivery and standing tank collection. See the wholesale page or call 0402 774 885.
In most cases yes. Trade pricing is for registered businesses, so we ask for an ABN and trading name when the account is set up. Below the trade minimum you can still order at normal prices through the shop.
Trade orders can be collected from our warehouse at 7 Lloyd St, West Melbourne VIC 3003 by arrangement. Book the pickup when you place the order. Our Franklin St office is not a pickup point and holds no stock.
Payments, refunds and contact
Cash, card and PayID. Online orders are paid at checkout; phone orders can be paid at the door.
If you no longer want a delivery, text or call us before the driver arrives and we will cancel it. Our full return and refund policy covers what happens once an order has been delivered.
